Well, it's really just me, unless you want to count my wife, son, and dog.

I'm what you'd call "old school" when it comes to the Web. I published my first two Web sites in 1994, and they were highly dynamic and interactive for the time. Since then, I've chosen Web Development as a profession, capitalizing on my training as an engineer to choose the simplest solution to solve a problem.

Surprisingly, that pretty much explains why I created the iCal Exchange. Apple released iCal, a cool and fun-to-use calendar program with a twist: calendars could be shared! But publishing a calendar to something other than .Mac would be an ordeal, and .Mac was now going to cost the average user $99 a year. I figured I could help the average user save some money and effort.

Since I have my own servers housed on a fast connection, I've got hardware and bandwidth available to build something like this quickly and robustly. I believe I can offer visitors a good value for their time and money. We're only scraping the surface of the possibilties of online calendaring, and I will grow the site and technology to match the industry, hopefully pioneering some of the evolution along the way.
